Teacher's Kit

Kate Harper Designs, a greeting card publisher in Berkeley California is offering free "Teacher kits" to elementary school teachers. Each teacher's kit includes copy-ready writing exercises, a greeting card, articles about prior published kids,and guidelines on how to submit work. Send Me a Teacher's Kit

If a child's quote is selected, they receive a cash award, a name credit (their name will be printed on the card), free greeting cards, and with the parent's permission, press releases will be sent to child's local newspapers.


HOW TO SUBMIT STUDENT WORK


1. SEND YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS: Please include an email address with each submission.

2. SEND YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION: Sometimes we receive outdated email addresses or disconnected phone numbers. Then we have no way of contacting the winner if their quotes are chosen. Please include contact information with each submission, such as a Name, School, Address, Phone, Fax. We never give out personal information to anyone else.

3. SEND CHILD'S NAME : If several children submit quotes, the submissions can get mixed up with others. Please make sure each submission has a name and age attached to it. Otherwise, we will not know who the author of the work is.

4. SEND YOUR AGE WITH ALL SUBMISSIONS: All childen must under 13 years old.

Quotes are published year around. If your quote is chosen, we will contact you the month after the deadline date. If you do not hear from us then, it is safe to assume that we were not able to use your submission. Quotes cannot be published without parent's written consent.
